Description: Soft Leaf Yucca (Yucca recurvifolia) is an evergreen succulent with flexible, recurved blue-green leaves. Less rigid than other yuccas.
History & Origin: Native to the southeastern United States, particularly coastal areas. Unlike its more rigid relatives, this species evolved in areas with higher rainfall, leading to its more flexible leaves. Used historically by Native Americans for fiber and soap-making properties.
